Ryanair has launched its Cologne summer schedule (2017), with a new summer service to Sofia and 21 routes in total, which will deliver 2.3m customers p.a. and support 1,800 jobs at Cologne Airport.
Ryanair’s Cologne summer schedule will see 21 routes including sun services to Corfu, Faro and Malaga, and lower fares as Ryanair passes on lower fuel costs.
In Cologne, Ryanair’s chief commercial officer, David O’Brien said:“We are pleased to launch our Cologne summer 2017 schedule, with a new summer service to Sofia, with 21 routes in total, which will deliver 2.3m customers p.a. and support 1,800 jobs at Cologne Airport. Ryanair continues to grow strongly in Germany, creating competition amongst German airports, which is good for consumers, driving down the cost of flying and offering more choice. There is huge potential for more Ryanair low fare routes to be added across our German network, and we would encourage our partners in Cologne Airport to work with us so that we can add even more new routes, while boosting tourism and job creation in the North Rhine-Westphalia region in the years to come.”
