Saudia, Amadeus ink MoU

Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Amadeus to collaborate on development of e-commerce and mobile solutions.
The joint initiative will assist new initiatives led by Saudia, including cargo, airport and revenue-orientated solutions. King Abdullah Economic City has been identified as the locale for the Competency Center.
“Saudi Arabia needs to continue strengthening its ability to create sustainable high-tech jobs, and are is determined to do everything it can to support this process,” said His Excellency Eng. Khalid Abdullah Almolhem, director general, Saudia.
The existing strategic business relationship will jointly develop aviation specific software targeted to improving customer services and passengers convenience through social media and mobile devices.
