The Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur has unveiled its new look, following a comprehensive two year refurbishment programme.
The revamp, which commenced in July 2013, “breathes new life into the Saujana brand concept”, according to the hotel’s operators. Completed in phases, the refurbishment has seen all of the hotel’s 250 rooms overhauled, along with its grand ballroom and 10 meeting rooms.
Six new meeting spaces have also been added, all featuring charging stations for electronic devices, 70-inch flat-screen TVs, and “visual feature walls”. Wi-Fi is now available free-of-charge throughout the resort.
Saujana has also created a brand new restaurant, Charcoal, which is a Malaysian grill concept that cooks prime meats and seafood on three large charcoal grills. It also features an open kitchen concept, so diners can see their dishes being prepared.
Other restaurants such as Senja and Kogetsu also underwent a makeover.
“After months of planning, construction and investment, we are thrilled to officially unveil our brand new look to the general public. This major investment will maintain The Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur’s position as a leading hotel in the Klang Valley,” stated Peter Hourigan, vice president of operations for Saujana Hotels & Resorts.
In addition to the above upgrades and changes, Saujana Hotels & Resorts recently launched its new website. The new online layout will see including a main corporate site and three hotel microsites, with all portals being optmised for desktop, tablet or mobile devices.
“The new design reflects the latest technology to showcase the forward thinking of our brand. The ease in navigation and added information with choices in mind, enables the very best in online service from when we first connect with the guest,” said Hourigan.
The Saujana Kuala Lumpur’s relaunch has also coincided with the property’s membership of Worldhotels – a global hotel representation company that will be able to extend Saujana’s marketing and distribution reach.
Saujana is set in 160 hectares of tropical gardens, 30 minutes’ drive from KL city centre.
