Shanghai station moves underground

Shanghai’s Metro operator, Shanghai Shentong Group, has announced that the revamped Zhangjiang High-Tech Park Station will reopen today, the Shanghai Daily has reported. Following extensive building work, the former above-ground station, which serves the city’s Metro Line 2, has been moved underground. Line 2’s extension to Pudong International Airport is expected to be complete by the end of March, the report added.
