Asia-based Dorsett Hospitality International has announced its first hotel in Europe will open in London’s Shepherds Bush.
Dorsett Shepherds Bush will open later this year within the former Shepherds Bush Pavilion which was built in 1923 and used to be a cinema.
The seven-storey hotel will retain its original features but have 317 Chinese-inspired bedrooms including 24 suites.
An executive lounge and two restaurants with Asia cuisine will open on the site, as well as a spa with four treatment rooms and meeting rooms.
“I am delighted to be part of this extremely exciting London Hotel launch within the vibrant area of Shepherds Bush. Dorsett Shepherds Bush will offer easy access to numerous facilities and activities within the local area as well as fantastic transport links to the rest of London. Dorsett Shepherds Bush will be a hotel where British charm meets Asian hospitality and we look forward
to introducing Dorsett Hotels & Resorts to the UK in May” said Hilary Cross, general manager of Dorsett Shepherds Bush, London.
Dorsett is part of the Far East Consortium which also operates the Dorsett Grand, d.Collection and Silka Hotels brands in China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia. The group will open 11 hotels in the next two years in China, Hong Kong and the UK.
