In-flight entertainment (IFE) provider, IFE Services, has been re-awarded a contract by Singapore Airlines (SIA) to provide Audio Video On Demand (AVOD) data file and schedule management services to the airline.
IFE Services will continue to manage SIA’s AVOD in-flight entertainment database. This involves coordinating with the relevant service providers of movies, short features, audio programmes, graphics, advertisements and trailers regarding all areas of logistics to ensure the delivery of completed programme media to Panasonic Avionics Corporation (PAC). The services cover a range of IFE systems including the PAC 2000E, 3000 and eX2 which are installed across the airline’s fleet of wide-bodied Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
“We firmly believe that our technical know-how of in-flight entertainment systems is amongst the very best in the industry,” said Andy McEwan, Managing Director of IFE Services. “To be entrusted by one of the world’s leading airlines to handle all of its AVOD management requirements only goes to reinforce our technical credentials. We look forward to seamlessly maintaining Singapore Airlines’ in-flight entertainment schedule across its entire fleet and playing a key role in ensuring that passengers are entertained during their journeys.”
