SIA to raise fuel surcharges

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has announced that it will raise fuel surcharges for tickets issued on or after 27 January 2011. With jet fuel now priced at more than US$110 per barrel, SIA and SilkAir will hike fuel surcharges by between US$3 and US$27 per sector, depending on the distance and class of travel.
