Snow hits Japan flights

Heavy snow in Japan has forced the country’s two largest carriers, Japan Airlines (JAL) and All Nippon Airways (ANA) to delay or cancel flights affecting over 7,000 passengers, Bloomberg has reported. JAL cancelled or delayed 40 flights, affecting 3,660 passengers, while ANA’s altered schedules affected 3,400 customers, the report said. The Japan Meteorological Agency warned of heavy snow in northern parts of the country.
