Two of the Most Powerful Words in the English Language
The words “Thank You” have more power than you can imagine. They have the power to heal, the power to give hope and the power of change. Here in the US, we devote an entire day to these words.
A friend of mine today declared that from here on out, she would spend Thanksgiving as her day where she does her “reset”, instead of waiting until the New Year. So for each year of her life, she would begin her “new year” with a list of those that she is grateful for, instead of beginning with an attitude of resolution and in many cases, regret. So I will join Martha and begin here.
On this day of thanksgiving here in the US, I thank God for you, our readers at Travel Daily Media. Without you, we are merely whispering into the wind. You are why we are here.
I am thankful today also for those that I work with, those that I have the privilege of serving in my business and with the Game Changer Network and my radio shows. I am so grateful my colleagues in this industry who I call friend (you know who you are) and for my other friends and extended family and to my own family that allow me to do what gives me true joy.
Most of all I pray for peace in this land that I love and for the freedom that we enjoy in this country. We are not perfect, but we live in a pretty special place.
I would like to share this Josh Groban song with you about being thankful.
Look around. It is up to us to be the change that we look for.
Look around. Be thankful.
Happy Thanksgiving.
