South African Tourism has commenced its second four city road show in India.
The tourism board along with 25 suppliers will travel to Mumbai, Ahmedabad, New Delhi and Kolkata starting 3 September till 6 September.
“India is a key market for us and the road show provides the right opportunity for us to get on the ground, face-to-face with the country’s top travel agents to discover and explore newer business possibilities and held us build on a two-way, win-win opportunity,” said Hanneli Slabber, Country Manager for South African Tourism in India.
The first road show was held earlier this year in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai and Pune with over 62 suppliers and 135 South African representatives participating at the workshop.
As per the latest statistics, Indian tourist arrivals to South Africa saw a 22.3% jump with a total of 12,641 Indian visitors.
