Starwood Hotels & Resorts has signed its second Aloft hotel in Seoul.
Scheduled to open in February 2017, the Aloft Seoul Myeongdong will be a new-build hotel located in the Korean capital’s Myeongdong shopping district. It will offer 223 rooms, free Wi-Fi, a restaurant, “grab & go” F&B area, a bar and fitness centre.
Aloft Seoul Myeongdong will become the brand’s second location in the city, following the Aloft Seoul Gangnam, which opened in October 2014.
Starwood now operates eight properties in South Korea, with a further two in the pipeline, under its Aloft, Sheraton, W, Westin and Four Points brands.
