Taiwan rejects light rail plans

Taiwan’s Ministry of Transportation and Communications has rejected plans by four counties to build light rail transit (LRT) systems. Taiwan News reported that the plans, which included submissions from Taoyuan and Kaohsiung, were found to be unsustainable.
