CHARLES ROY KELLY has been announced as the new Board Chairman of Outrigger Enterprises Group, effective immediately. Kelly takes over from his father, Richard R. Kelly, who has held the position with the Hawaii-based hospitality group since 1986.
PAULO SALVADOR has been appointed as Worldhotels’ new Vice President of Global Marketing & Sales and Vice President for EMEA Hotels. A Brazilian national, Salvador has spent 11 years with Accor, recently as Global Senior Vice President for Ecommerce.
PATRICK MITCHELL has been named as Club Med’s new Vice President of Sales for the North America. With more than 15 years of experience, Mitchell has most recently served as Vice President of Global Sales Strategy & Planning at Norwegian Cruise Line.
JACQUI CUTHBERTSON has been announced as the new General Manager of the Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Bangkok. A British national, Ms Cuthbertson is no stranger to Thailand, having spent three years as GM of the Fraser Suites Sukhumvit.
SIMON DELL has been appointed General Manager of the ONYX Hospitality Group’s newest resort, Amari Hua Hin, which is set to open in March 2012. A UK national, Dell has a wealth of hotel experience in Hong Kong, Russia, Germany, Israel and Switzerland.
PAWANA SHRESTHA has been appointed as Etihad Airways’ new Country Manager for Nepal, based in Kathmandu. Ms Shrestha, who has 11 years’ travel industry experience, began her career with Gulf Air in 1999, before moving to Galileo in 2004.
ELOY ESTAVEZ has been named as the new Operations Manager at The Menjangan, Lifestyle Retreats’ latest addition in Bali. A Spanish national, Estavez previously worked for Amanresorts in the US and Morocco as well as properties in Australia and the UK.
JUSMAN SO has been named as the new Chef de Cuisine at Dava, the fine dining restaurant at AYANA Resort & Spa Bali. So was the founder-chef of Singapore’s famed Sage restaurant, and has also worked at the Hilton Singapore.
SCOTTIE ZHOU has been announced as the new Food & Beverage Director at the Pullman Shanghai Skyway. A 12-year hospitality professional, Zhou joins the hotel from the Mandarin Shanghai, where he spent six years as Food & Beverage Manager.
JAN WILLEM KUIPERS has been named as the new Resident Manager of the Thai boutique resort Aleenta Hua Hin-Pranburi. A Dutch national, Kuipers has served as GM at several properties, including Baan Laksasubha Hua Hin and Park Hyatt Saigon.
JASON PENG has been appointed Chief Butler at the St Regis Sanya Yalong Bay Resort. A native of China’s Shandong province, Peng comes to the St Regis from The Fullerton Hotel Singapore. He has also been a Butler at the St Regis Singapore.
DAVIDE PRITONI has been announced as the new Italian Chef for the Cape House Langsuan hotel’s No. 43 Italian Bistro. An Italian national, Chef Davide arrives at the Bangkok hotel with more than 15 years’ experience in Italy and Australia.
