Teletext Holidays is to use new affinity partnerships in its next phase of growth, it has announced.
The company has created a new role of partnerships manager in a bid to boost its database from a current 1 million to 2 million by the end of 2013. The role has been filled by Lindsay Brook-Hartop, who previously worked at Frommer’s Unlimited.
“Driving more affinity partners and working together with like-minded brands is part of our strategy to build an active database so we are tailoring our marketing to people who want to hear about holiday deals from us,” said Victoria Sanders, managing director of Teletext Holidays.
“We see Lindsay’s appointment as an important one within our new-look digital business. We will be looking to work with more brands outside the travel industry, it might be fashion retailers or publishing brands, but we see huge potential in this area,” she added.
The company will also create new campaigns with Virgin Media and Samsung to drive more bookings.
