MIKE BONNER has been announced as the new vice president of marketing for One&Only Resorts. Based in Dubai, he will be responsible for the company’s global marketing efforts. Bonner joins the company from Silversea Cruises, where he served as general manager and sales & marketing director for UK & Ireland.
MARK J. SERVODIDIO has been named as Avis Budget Group’s new president of international, covering Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Servodidio joined the car rental company in 2001 and has held a number of senior positions, most recently as managing director for Europe.
AUGUSTINE M. SILVA has been appointed senior general manager of the Sunway Putra Hotel in Malaysia. A Singaporean national, Silva brings more than 25 years of hospitality experience to the role, having managed hotels in New York, Seoul, Bangkok, Sydney and Singapore.
ANDREAS WIECKENBERG has been named as the Raffles Hotel Singapore’s new executive assistant manager for food & beverage. Wieckenberg previously worked at hotels in Germany, China and the US, including a spell as director of food & beverage at the Mandarin Oriental Macau.
LYN LEE has been appointed as AccorHotels’ new sustainable development & communications director for Asia Pacific. Ms Lee, who will now lead the company’s Planet 21 and CSR programmes in Asia, previously spent almost eight years at Resorts World Sentosa as communications assistant director.
ADRIAN CHUA has been become the new hotel manager for the Furama Bukit Bintang in Kuala Lumpur. Chua brings more than 25 years of hospitality experience to the role, working for hotels in Singapore, China and Myanmar. He was formerly president of the Association of Singapore Housekeepers.
MICHAEL CHEW has become the new executive chef at the One World Hotel Petaling Jaya in Malaysia. A Malaysian national, Chef Michael has previously worked in kitchens at restaurants and hotels in Brunei, Germany and China. He specialises in Chinese and Asian cuisine.
ANDYASOKA PRADA PUTRA has been appointed hotel manager of the Pop Hotel Tebet Jakarta, which is managed by Tauzia. He joins the company from Archipelago International, where he spent the last two years as hotel manager of the Hotel NEO Tendean in Jakarta.
