Tianjin Airlines launches first long-haul flights

Tianjin Airlines launched its first ever long-haul flights on Monday, with the start of a new service to Moscow.
The Chinese carrier, which forms part of the HNA Group, will now operate weekly flights direct between Tianjin and the Russian capital, with departures every Monday.
The outbound flight will leave Tianjin’s Binhai International Airport at 1600 and arrive at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo International Airport at 1930. The return flights will depart at 2110 on the same day, getting back to Tianjin at 0930 the next morning.
Tianjin Airlines will serve the route using its first twin-aisle aircraft – a 260-seat, two-class Airbus A330. All passengers will offer offered seat-back in-flight entertainment.
Tianjin Airlines currently operates to cities in China, Japan, South Korea and Southeast Asia. And its long-haul expansion will continue in the coming years, with plans to launch flights to London, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Vancouver and Melbourne in the next five years.
