The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has announced that it will postpone the unveiling of its two newly-arrived giant pandas at the city’s Ueno Zoo, the Japan Times has reported. The decision was enforced after the zoo closed yesterday for an unspecified period. The pandas, named Ri Ri and Shin Shin, were brought to Tokyo from China only last month and had been scheduled to be unveiled next Tuesday.
