Tourico Holidays has formed a new partnership with Accor, allowing the hotel company’s portfolio to be distributed through the travel wholesaler.
As the newest addition to Tourico’s Direct Connect programme, Accor has initially added 400 hotels, with plans to expand to 1,200 properties within the next two years. Tourico’s clients have been offered access to access to these hotels’ real time and last-minute availability, with commission on bookings.
“This is a very exciting partnership between Europe’s largest hotel and the fastest growing travel wholesaler in Europe,” said Dermot Quigley, Tourico’s Executive Vice President of Global Product Development. “With a 40% growth in Europe last year, this Direct Connect partnership will solidify Tourico Holidays’ place in the European market place by providing our clients with Accor’s impressive products, promotions and translated content.”
Tourico currently has Direct Connect partnerships with more than 10 hotel chains, including Hilton, IHG and Best Western.
