Tourism Malaysia launches BLUU Travel Pack
Deputy Minister of Tourism, YB Dato Dr. James Dawos Mamit, recently launched an all-inclusive travel pack targeted at inbound travellers to Malaysia. The travel pack enables holidaymakers to enjoy the benefits of stress-free travel.
The first of its kind BLUU is an all-inclusive package, combining a pre-loaded SIM card, travel insurance, and access to a unique multi-lingual virtual concierge that provides travellers with instant information and help.
The exclusive travel insurance for the BLUU Travel Pack is provided by Chartis Malaysia Insurance Berhad, and is the first of its kind in Malaysia to allow for claims to be disbursed within 24-hours upon approval. This distinctive feature enables travellers to carry-on with their holidays regardless of untoward incidences, avoiding the regular hassle of claims submissions and processes which usually takes more than a week, hindering an enjoyable experience. Telecommunications giant, Celcom, provides the pre-loaded SIM cards which are included in the BLUU travel pack.
At the initial stage, more than 50 participating outlets across Malaysia has signed up to offer exclusive discounts and privileges to BLUU card holders. This includes food and beverage outlets, along with numerous fashion and beauty brands.

The Virtual Concierge is available 9 am - 9pm, hours, 7 days a week and its Assistants are fluent in English, Tamil, Arabic, Iranian, amongst other languages. They are trained as comparable travel guides, able to assist travellers for a host of travel-related needs, from directions to suggesting desirable locations to providing alternative routes to reach destinations during peak hours.
As part of the BLUU Travel Pack, a pre-loaded SIM card with RM 15 in credit is included for instant connectivity once the traveller reaches Malaysia. Upon activation, the traveller is insured against theft, medical emergencies, accidents and loss of luggage.
