Travelport is launching its professional networking site, Travelport Opinions, to agents in Asia. The free online networking tool connects members of the travel industry with a view to harnessing their collective travel knowledge. To date, more than 7,600 travel industry members worldwide have already signed up to the site.
Using the tool, agents are able to create and search hotel reviews and pose questions to destination experts around the world. Agents can also access a hotel-related media including over 110,000 photos and 2,500 videos, all within a personalised interface. New functionalities include a ‘people you may know’ application, ‘latest activities of your contacts’, ‘groups’, an improved email alert system and an enhanced forum layout.
