TUI Travel has announced it has more than 1,500 customer service vacancies to fill for summer 2014.
The travel company has changed its application process to include all its eight brands under one website and recruitment process.
Its new ‘one stop shop’ for customer facing roles includes job opportunities at Thomson, First Choice, JCA, Sunsail, Travelbound, Crystal Ski, Ski Bound Holidays and Flexiski.
The group will be employing people in areas such as overseas customer roles and childcare over nine countries and 100 types of role.
“This change will mean recruitment for UK roles at many TUI Travel businesses are now housed under one roof. This includes not only overseas roles, but also airline, retail and call centre opportunities. Our current and prospective employees will have the opportunity to move around the brands or roles within head offices,” said Jacky Simmonds, group HR director at TUI.
“The benefit to our current employees is that they can easily move within the Group and develop an exciting lifelong career within TUI Travel. This is mutually beneficial to both our staff and customers, as employees will have a greater understanding of the business as a whole,” she added.
