The Unique Collection of Hotels & Resorts has expanded its portfolio with the addition of the Vivo bene Village, Chiang Mai.
Opened in November 2014, Vivo bene Village is set amongst two hectares of gardens, 18km from Chiang Mai city centre. It offers a selection of eight villas and six pavilions, all of which feature spacious terraces. The pavilions, which can be reserved for private groups, feature communal lounge areas, reading rooms and kitchens.
A key selling point of the resort is that it designed to accommodate guests with restricted mobility, those in need of special care, or people recovering from illnesses. A qualified health professional is on-hand round the clock to provide care and assistance.
Facilities include a wheelchair-accessible swimming pool, a restaurant, bakery, fitness room, and a wellness centre with a beauty salon and massage and hairdressing services. There is also a small meeting room that can accommodate up to fifteen persons.
Groups staying at the resort can also partake in such activities as painting, music, dance evenings and Thai cooking classes.
“Vivo bene Village is not only perfect for different categories of guest, young or old, it is ideal for any person or group needing special care or attention such as cannot be provided in an ordinary resort or hotel,” said the resort’s GM, Marc Dumur. “We look forward to The Unique Collection of Hotel’s ability to communicate this message to all guests who would certainly benefit from our hospitality, our expertise, and our peaceful ambiance.”
Peter Kaelli, CEO of The Unique Collection, commented; “The property has unquestionably set a new standard for luxury resorts with a very uniquely specialised service. In line with the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s campaign to promote medical and long stay leisure tourism in Thailand, our aim is to expand its market and to further enhance its positioning as a specialised care and rest centre offering guests the best possible combination of East and West.”
