VietJet Air launches check-in kiosks
VietJet Air has launched a range of self check-in kiosks at its airports in Vietnam.
The new low-cost carrier launched the new facilities at Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Danang International Airport, and Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport, becoming the first Vietnamese airline to offer a self-check-in option.
The low-cost carrier, which launched late last year, said it will initially post staff at the kiosks to show customers how they work. The carrier is also planning to launch a new web-based check-in service in the near future.
“As a new-generation low-cost carrier in Vietnam, VietJetAir always pioneers in ICT application and development to keep up with global standards, thus helps save time, cut costs and increase comfort for our passengers,” said Desmond Lin, VietJet Air’s Director of Business Development.
VietJet currently flies four domestic routes and plans to introduce international flights to destinations in Southeast and Northeast Asia early next year.
