Vietnam Airlines boosts holiday capacity

Vietnam Airlines is increasing its domestic capacity to meet the expected rise in demand for flights during the National Day holiday.
The national carrier has added 95 one-way flights on seven routes between 29 August and 3 September 2015, equating to 7,800 extra seats. This will mark an overall 11% increase in capacity across the airline’s domestic network.
Routes with additional capacity will include those from Hanoi to Quang Binh, Danang, Nha Trang and Phu Quoc, and from Ho Chi Minh City to Danang, Nha Trang and Phu Quoc.
The airline also announced the resumption of flights between HCMC and Pleiku, a city in the Central Highlands. Flights will initially operate daily.
Vietnam’s National Day falls on 2 September 2015.
