Vietnam Airlines confirms London flights

Officials from the UK and Vietnam sealed an agreement to launch direct flights between the two countries. Talks held between the UK Department for Transport, the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam and Vietnam Airlines concluded late last week with an agreement for the national carrier to launch direct services to London from both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The services will initially be operated twice a week from both hubs. UK officials were reported saying that finalised frequency and timings “should emerge soon”.
