The number of tours booked in Vietnam during the country’s four-day National Day holiday period has surged by up to 30%, according to the Vietnam Administration of Tourism (VNAT). Citing local new portal, VN+, the VNAT said that the country’s main tour company, Saigontourist has seen more than 14,000 bookings for the 30 April-03 May holidays; approximately 20% up year-on-year. Fiditour Tourism Company estimated its bookings at 22,000 – 30% more than last year. The figures were for both inbound and outbound trips.
