Low-cost Spanish airline Vueling has recorded a 22% increase in passengers during June compared to last year. The airline carried 1.18 million passengers during last month with a load factor of 73.8%, 2.6% higher than last year. The increases marked part of the airline’s fleet and route expansion, which rose 18.9% and 35.1% respectively. The carrier’s connections into Spain from Iberia’s flights has helped the figures and it is now set to launch 26 new routes during this summer.
