World Travel Market (WTM) has revealed the speakers who will be appearing as part of its responsible tourism programme in November.
The first panel, which will be debating eco-tourism, will include the responsible travel director of TripAdvisor, Jenny Rushmore; the managing director of Green Tourism Business Scheme Andrew Nicholas; and Dr. Xavier Font of Leeds Metropolitan University will lead the ‘What does certification contribute to responsible tourism?’ debate.
There is also a scheduled debate on ‘Responsible tourism approaches to maximise local economic development’ with Transfrontier Park Destinations owner Glynn O’Leary, Village Ways boss Richard Hearnfrom, Dr. Harold Goodwin and Roberto Daniele of Oxford Brookes.
The responsible tourism panel will take place on 5 November.
