Yas Express on growth track

The Yas Express and Yas Express Saadiyat shuttle is receiving positive response. The hop-on, hop-off facility has received a total of 37,950 passengers in the last seven months. The facility connects tourists across a variety of attractions on Yas island.
Karim El Guanaini, vice president Yas Island Destination Management said: “We have received strong encouraging signs of increase in number of passengers of the Saadiyat route. There has been positive growth in the two months the route has been opened.”
Recording a monthly passenger average of 5,421 for Yas express, El Guanaini said: “As more and more attractions are launched on the Island, there is more for tourists to see, thus we have met this demand by adding this complimentary service.”
The two existing routes currently include stops at YasWaterworld, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Plaza Hotels, Yas Viceroy Hotel, Yas Central, St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort and Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi.
