Sunvil Holidays and sister company GIC The Villa Collection has announced it will introduce a new airline to its summer Greece programme next year.
Flights by Berlin-based Germania from Gatwick will debut next year with agents able to pre-book seats, additional legroom and excess baggage for customers.
“Germania will base one of its fleet of aircraft at Gatwick for the entire summer season in order to fly our programme. Sunvil and GIC have contracted full catering (with hot meal service) plus a 20 kg baggage allowance and pre-allocated seating,” explained Chris Wright, operations director at Sunvil and managing director at GIC The Villa Collection.
“Faced with competition from the low-cost carriers, it is very important that, as real specialists to Greece, we differentiate our offering. The new full-service Germania flights will allow us to do just this, on a modern aircraft,” he added.
