China Southern adds new aircraft on Australian routes
China Southern Airlines will upgrade its Australian services with the launch of its latest Airbus A330-200 on two new routes.
From 1 April 2013, the Guangzhou-based airline will start flying the aircraft to Brisbane and Perth, offering its latest cabin products including flatbed seats in business class and personal seatback TV screens in all classes.
“We promised to deliver our best aircraft to Australia and we’ve done it,” said China Southern’s Regional General Manager for Australia & New Zealand, Henry He. “Australia remains our key overseas market and to ensure its success we plan to continually update our product and improve our service to offer the best travelling experience on our Canton Route to the world.”
China Southern currently offers 45 flights to Australia and New Zealand, with plans to increase to 55 by the end of 2015.
