A man who tried to hijack an Alitalia aircraft has been overpowered by cabin crew. The BBC reported that the plane was carrying 131 passengers from Paris to Rome when the man pulled out a knife and demanded the plane be flown to Libya. Flight attendants tackled the man and held him until the plane arrived at Rome’s Fiumicino airport, where he was arrested. One flight attendant was reported to be injured in the incident.
