The Longemont hotel in Shanghai has joined Worldhotels. The five-star, 53-storey property originally opened in 1995 as The Regent Shanghai. Now as an independent hotel, the 511-room Longemont has become a member of Worldhotels’ Deluxe Collection.
The hotel’s facilities include five restaurants, a fitness centre with a 30-metre swimming pool, gym and tennis court.
Worldhotels’ Vice President Asia Pacific, Roland Jegge said; “Independent hotels such as The Longemont are increasingly appreciating the competitive edge to be gained from joining our global marketing and distribution network.”
