Maldivian resort opens on Huma Island

The Philippines’ first Maldivian-inspired island resort has opened in Palawan.
Located in Busuanga, Huma Island Resort & Spa features 81 villas, of which 64 are set over water, each with open-air Jacuzzi, luxury bathroom facilities, and modern room amenities.
The resort offers eight dining outlets ranging from Lebanese, Italian and fresh seafood cuisines.
The spa features over-water treatment pavilions complete with glass flooring, and a menu of Ayurveda, Asian, and Arabic inspired therapies.
Resort facilities include an infinity pool, kids club, library, beauty salon, fitness center, and a wide range of water adventures including jetski, hobie cat sailing, and island excursions. As a top ten dive spot in the world, there is also and a PADI accredited dive centre,
Only an hour flight away from Manila, Busuanga is accessible via Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, and Skyjet with daily flights from Manila and Cebu. Alternatively, the resort offers a private sea plane transfer.
