Preferred Hotel Group has announced the addition of two new member properties in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. The Pinctada Cable Beach Spa Resort joins the Preferred Boutique portfolio, while Pinctada Kimberley Grande, Kununurra becomes a member of Summit Hotels & Resorts.
The Pinctada Cable Beach Spa Resort in Broome offers 72 rooms and suites, plus an asymmetrical pool with spa areas, a cascading water feature, and a 25-metre lap lane. The resort is just a five-minute walk to the 22km Cable Beach. Other facilities include Australia’s only LI’TYA concept spa.
In Kununurra, the homestead-style Pinctada Kimberley Grande also offers 72 rooms, including five spa suites. The property was home to cast and crew during the filming of Baz Luhrmann’s film, Australia. Facilities include a 25-metre swimming pool with spa, three restaurants and bars, and conference facilities for up to 260 people.
