GCC family guests on the rise at Tamani Hotels

Walid Al-Awa, general manager of Tamani Marina Dubai recently confirmed an increased tourist demand from all GCC countries.
This was reported for the first quarter of this year, according to hotel guests indicators. Al-Awa indicates that UAE presents safety, security, and major tourism projects recently launched along with environmental and heritage distinct, formed an important base to attract tourists and family tourism in particular.
Al-Awa pointed that family tourism recorded a significant growing in UAE, especially by Arab countries due to its Arab values and traditions on a global scale and embracement of cultures of the world on its soil tourist diversity.
Al-Awa predicted a growing increase on Gulf family tourism to UAE in coming period, which coincides with the unique school holidays and tourism programmes and entertainment organized by the emirates. Pointing out that UAE has established being a favorite of tourists from GCC.
Digital indicators for the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) issued bays tourists to Dubai over the past year, about 1.54 million tourists, compared with 1.29 in the previous year, a growth of 19%.
Al Awa said that the increasing number of new hotel rooms in the market, contributed to the promotion of hotel competition and improvement of the quality services, which reflected to the increase in hotel occupancy rates.
