Asia Miles, Asia’s leading travel reward programme, has today announced its new collaborative project with leading global provider of customer reward and ancillary revenue programmes, Collinson Latitude.
The new project will see members earning Asia Miles whilst shopping online through the iShop portal from a wide range of global merchants. Members can then redeem miles with over 400 Asia Miles partners worldwide, for example, by dining at a partner restaurant.
A key advantage to the new programme is that members are not restricted to shopping within their country of residence and can choose to shop globally on iShop for the best deals. Participating countries include the UK, the US, Australia, Japan and China.
iShop is built on Collinson Latitude’s online reward platform RewardAll and was launched within eight weeks for Asia Miles. RewardAll incorporates leading merchants globally and provides a seamless connection between the member, Asia Miles and the online merchant.
Paul Loo – General Manager, Cathay Pacific Loyalty Programmes, says: “We are very excited to bring iShop to Asia Miles members and consumers worldwide who prefer to shop online. iShop allows the purchase of many everyday items, anytime, anywhere - with the added benefit of members being able to earn Asia Miles. It has been running successfully for two months and we will continue to add more merchants in more countries for the benefit of all of our shoppers.”
James Berry - Product Director, Collinson Latitude, says: “Collinson Latitude is extremely excited to be working with Asia Miles. Being Asia’s largest travel rewards programme, this collaboration allows us to share our superior rewards platform with a huge audience. The fact that members aren’t restricted to shopping in their country of residence is also a unique attribute for a travel reward programme. We’re very happy to be working alongside Asia Miles, leading the way in customer reward programmes.”
Latitude’s parent company, The Collinson Group, has vast experience in the area of ancillary revenue and membership programmes, having implemented successful strategies for its own products including insurance brand Columbus Direct and Priority Pass, the world’s largest independent airport lounge access programme.
