A Qantas aircraft has been forced to land in Bangkok after suffering mechanical trouble, Channel NewsAsia reported authorities in Thailand as saying. The Sydney-bound Boeing 747, carrying 354 passengers, reportedly developed problems soon after taking off from the Thai capital’s Suvarnabhumi airport on Tuesday evening. It returned to Bangkok after being airborne for just two hours. The incident is the latest in a series of setbacks for the Aussie carrier.
