Garuda Indonesia will move its Singapore operations from Changi International Airport’s Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 on 22 February this year, promising enhanced check-in, departure and arrival facilities for passengers.
“This is our first move since we started our Singapore operations in Terminal 1 when Changi International Airport opened 30 years ago. Terminal 3 is a state-of-the-art facility recognised as one of the best airport terminals in the world. With this move, our passengers can expect a more pleasant airport experience with improved facilities and higher standards of service. The new terminal is also better equipped to meet our future expansion plans,” said Risnandi, Senior General Manager, Area Asia, Garuda Indonesia.
The terminal transfer will be supported by upgraded passenger facilities as well as an improved check-in area. Passengers passing though Terminal 3 can also benefits from more shops, bars and restaurants, as well as a Butterfly Garden – a world first for an airport.
The airline currently operates eight direct daily flights from Singapore to Jakarta and Bali.
