Job Description

Travel Technology Support Analyst – London/Hybrid. A unique and exciting opportunity for someone with a good understanding of travel industry technologies and booking tools to join the in-house travel team of a global professional services organisation. Initial training will be in Canary Wharf, after which the role can be hybrid with 1-2 days in the office and the rest remote.

Travel Technology Support Analyst Responsibilities

The focus of this role will be to support it’s global employees with support for new and existing technologies relating to travel such as online booking tools, mobile travel applications, GDS, travel intelligence tools and the in-house travel portal which is a cutting edge source of information on travel advice, hotels, airlines and more.

Acting as the point of contact for support with the online booking tools or travel portal, you will respond to individual travel booker enquiries, liaise between the traveller and technology vendor to resolve any technical issues, coordinate any maintenance/updates to the travel applications, support with the implementation if any new travel technologies, monitor KPI’s defined by the global travel team relating to technology and providing analytical reports to senior management.

Travel Technology Support Analyst Skills Required

  • A background in technical support within the travel industry or customer support within a travel technology environment.
  • Knowledge and experience of GDS and Online Booking tools would be a distinct advantage
  • Sound working knowledge of Excel
  • Basic understanding of related platforms such as Windows Server OS, Active Directory, SQL Server
  • Some level of experience with SQL Design, Javascript and HTML would be an advantage but not an absolute must
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and customer facing skills
