Langham Hospitality Group has signed its fifth Eaton property, following a management deal with Shenzhen Warmsun Real Estate Development for the upscale Eaton Luxe Shajing, Shenzhen. The property will form part of the Warmsun International Complex, opening in late 2013.
The new property will offer 220 rooms and suites, along with three restaurants, a 1,000-square metre ballroom and other meeting facilities.
Brett Butcher, Chief Executive Officer of Langham Hospitality Group said; “We’re delighted to be part of Shenzhen’s important urban renewal projects and look forward to great success with our forward-looking partners, Shenzhen Warmsun Real Estate Development.
“By introducing the essence of the international five-star Eaton Luxe hotel with its extensive space, sophisticated style and essential services, we will help create a revitalised hub in Shajing that is comparable to other urban renewal projects around the world.”
The property forms part of a mixed-use development, including residential, commercial and retail elements. Located in an industrial zone 8km from the Fuyong Ferry Terminal and 10km from Baoan International Airport, the Warmsun International Complex is one of Shenzhen’s 10 major urban renewal projects aimed to spur economic growth in the region.
Currently, three Eaton Smart brand hotels are open or in the pipeline in China, Hong Kong and India.
