Hue Festivals attracts three million visitors

More than three million visitors, including almost 28,600 international tourists, flocked to the 2010 Hue Festival, which was held in the central Vietnamese city from 5-13 June, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) has said. Approximately 550 international and 2,300 domestic artists took part in 117 artistic performances throughout the event. In addition, an international trade fair running alongside the festival, attracted 16,000 guests and generated revenues of VND18.5 billion (US$954,000).
