Pilots on strike with Air France have rejected an offer to end the industrial action.
Air France had offered to suspend plans to expand Transavia to settle the dispute, which has seen 60% of its schedule cancelled during the past eight days.
However the SNPL union said the offer offered no more guarantees than what it had heard before.
According to the BBC, the airline’s chief executive Alexandre de Juniac said the strike could have ‘catastrophic consequences’ with each day costing the carrier GBP11.8 million.
The pilots are concerned the new Transavia move will mean their wages will be lowered.
