Airbus has cancelled a major order placed by Kingfisher Airlines.
The grounded Indian carrier had outstanding orders for five A380s and five A350s, dating back to 2005. But Kingfisher has not operated a flight since October 2012 and has long since had its international slots removed by Indian authorities.
As such, Airbus confirmed it has now scrapped the airline’s order. No other Indian airline has placed an order for the A380 or A350.
