The UK’s Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) has confirmed that it has received a number of complaints a web advertisement from Aer Lingus, The Telegraph reported. Although some one-way flights are on offer at the GBP9.99 (US$14.20), price, dates and availability are limited. The price also fails to include a “handling fee” of for each flight, meaning the cheapest one-way booking available is actually GBP13.99, the report said.
Last month, Aer Lingus was ordered by the ASA to cease using an advertisement for “free” flights following a complaint by rival airline Ryanair.
