Sri Lankan hotel chain, Aitken Spence Hotels, has ambitious plans to expand in India. At present the chain has management tie-ups with six hotels – one in Puducherry, two in Kerala, one in Andaman, one in Yercaud and one in Coimbatore. Suresh Dissanayake, Head of Sales and Marketing -India, told TDI during the Great Indian Travel Bazaar in Jaipur that the target was to have as many as 20 hotels managed in India in the next three years.Aitken also has hotels in Sri Lanka, Maldives and Oman.
