Ajman delegation visits Milan Expo 2015

In a bid to showcase its tourism potential in new markets, HE Saeed Almatrooshi, secretary general of the executive council of the Emirate of Ajman will be headed to visit Milan Expo 2015.
The authority will be accompanied with a delegation from the Ajman government. The mission will explore best methods in organizing an international exhibition and meet with different government and semi-government institutions. This will also help the emirate in terms of infrastructure, tourism and economic development. The team will also seek investment opportunities in line with the vision of Dubai Expo 2020.
Key members of the delegation include HE Faisal Al Nuaimi, general manager of Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD), Hind Al Marzooqi, head of marketing and promotion and Roqaia Radwan, director general coordinator of ATDD, Eng Khalid Al Hosani, executive director of public health and environment, Eng Mohamed Al Muhairi, executive director of engineering affairs and Eng Marwan Al Muhairi, director of project management office from the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, Abdullah Al Marzooqi, executive director and Khalid Al Shamsi, director of finance and administration from Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Fatima Al Shamsi, director of corporate communication office and Mohamed Al Ketbi, deputy director of promotion and event management from department of economic development and Sultan Al Rumaithi, Ajman Excellence programme coordinator and Ohoud Shehail, director of eGovernment from the Executive Council and Colonel Rashid Mujlad, deputy director general of Ajman Civil Defense.
Expo Milano 2015 is the Universal Exhibition that Milan is hosting since 1 May 2015. The theme for this year’s Expo is ‘Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life’ which focuses about problems of nutrition and resources of our planet. More than 140 participating countries are exhibiting their best technology to answer to a vital need. The exhibition is expected to welcome over 20 million.
