Thailand’s Akaryn Hotel Group has unveiled plans for a new beach resort in southern Thailand.
Scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2016, akyra Beach Club will be located on the shores of Natai Beach in Phang-Nga province, 25 minutes’ drive north of Phuket International Airport.
The property will offer 59 rooms, suites and villas, plus a restaurant overlooking the sea, a swimming pool, beach bar and a beach spa area.
The resort will be located a few minutes’ walk from Akaryn’s Aleenta Phuket-Phang Nga resort, and guests at akyra Beach Club will be able to use the sister property’s facilities, including its Ayurah Wellness Centre.
Describing the new resort concept, Akaryn’s founder & managing director Anchalika Kijkanakorn said; “In many ways the atmosphere is akin to the coolest summer festival, just by the beach. It’s just a different kind of playground. A softer and sandier one but the principal is the same.
“The vision is less unabashed hedonism but more epicurean lifestyle which features in all our resorts. Good food, good tunes, good vibes with extraordinary people enjoying the good things in life – and looking fabulous while doing it. That’s what we are all about.”
akyra Beach Club will become the company’s third akyra-branded property, following the akyra Chura Samui and akyra Manor Chiang Mai.
