The new MI solution gathers data from more than 60 critical global business markets and provides corporate travel clients with centralised, online access to comprehensive information resulting from their organisation’s business expenditures.
It has been developed in response to the clients’ demand for more accessible, accurate management information that can meet the dual goal of program savings and control, says Andrew J. McGraw, Senior Vice President and General Manager, American Express Business Travel North America.
Key elements such as its intuitive navigation, graphic dashboards, and standard and customisable reports, American Express AXIS @ Work aims to channel the organisation’s global data into actionable data, to help clients to efficiently pinpoint opportunities for program improvement.
As an added value to the new MI solution, American Express also introduced a new specialty area dedicated to Management Information within its Advisory Services group.
The Management Information experts’ main objective is to integrate data from American Express AXIS @ Work with corporate card, airline, hotel, car rental and other supplier’s data to determine spending trends, identify T&E savings opportunities, and recommend strategies for optimising and maximising travel spend.
