Anantara has started operating cruises along the Thu Bon River in Hoi An, central Vietnam.
Guests at the Anantara Hoi An Resort will be offered the chance to take daily, one-hour cruises along a 5km stretch of the scenic river, passing through Hoi An’s UNESCO-listed town centre.
The voyages also cruise past Cam Kim Island, Kim Bong carpentry village and Thanh Nam fishing village, before returning to the Anantara.
Anantara will use a traditionally-designed wooden vessel for the cruises, which has been made by local carpenters at Kim Bong village.
Cruises depart daily at 10.30am and 2.30pm, and there is also a sunset cruise that sets off at 4.30pm.
